We are a small animal practice in Taunton, first established before the First World War. We are passionate about animal care and our skilled team of veterinarians and vet nurses are dedicated to providing the highest quality care for your animals. Because we love animals and strive to provide excellent continuity of care, we are open six days a week and have access to 24-hour emergency care. For your added convenience, there’s free parking for clients at our surgeries.
Kobus qualified as a veterinary surgeon in South Africa in 1995 and he has been practising in the UK since March 1999. He has experienced many different veterinary environments, including owning his own practice and managing various small animal practices across the UK. His last employment was at the University of Bristol’s vet school, where he managed all the clinical activities of the veterinary practices, including the referral hospital. Kobus joined Tone Veterinary Centre in 2010 with one goal in mind: to care for your pet as much as you do. He used to compete in competitive dog agility, but now cycling has taken up all his spare time.
